Important Information:
Grandparent/Special Guest Mass
Catholic School’s Week is fast approaching. One of the special days during that week is Grandparent/Special guest day. It is currently scheduled for Friday, February 1 and will be at Holy Spirit Church. Help your child invite someone to join them at mass and a short reception in the church hall on that day. It really is meaningful for all if your child has a special guest on that day. And yes, we are encouraging the grandparent/special guest to take the child home after the mass/reception. So please, begin working on the arrangements for this very special day. Let me know if you have any questions.
100th Day of School
In the folder this week, I sent home information about the 100th Day of School. It is looking like it will be Thursday, January 31st. If there are snow days, it will be moved back. I'm asking that you help your child fill their 100th Day Mystery Bag with 100 items. The items must fit in the brown paper bag and be kindergarten friendly (nothing breakable!). Anything can be in the brown paper bag such as marbles, stickers, pennies, buttons, etc. On the 100th day, the class will guess what item is in your child's bag based on the clues they give. Please send the bag filled sometime before the 100th day of school, Thursday, January 31st.

We are finishing up our reading unit this coming week. Be sure to practice the following sight words with your child, as they will be assessed on them next Friday. Come, Me, You, What, With, Are, My, Now
